Health Counseling is a unique, exciting innovation. Most dietitians dwell on
calories, carbs and fats and rely on lists of good and bad foods. We practice a
holistic approach to nutrition. We not only look at what’s in your kitchen
cabinets, we also explore how other areas of your life impact your health.

At Becoming Health, we believe everything affects your health. Healthy
relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and mindfulness
are essential forms of nourishment.
An individualized approach to nutrition.
The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has their own unique
nutritional needs. One person’s food can be another person’s poison. That’s a
big reason fad diets don’t work in the long run. We analyze your age, health,
activity level, blood type, and (perhaps most importantly) your personal
preferences to determine a nutritional mix that works for you.
Our approach is simple and balanced.
We start with your current diet and slowly introduce more filling whole foods:
high-quality, organic vegetables and fruits, complex carbohydrates, protein and
water. Don’t fret, we make no mandates. French fries shall pass your lips. We even encourage you to eat chocolate!

Working out should be creative and fun. Our sessions leave you stronger, more
balanced, with greater flexibility, and a smile on your face.
